What can we do or look for 20% ethanol that has been talked about in fuel? What if anything might we need to replace if this happens?

This seems to take several months of aging. Changing temperatures might be contributing to the rapid separation of petroleum fuel and ethanol fuel and water. The changing dew points seem to accelerate formation of water droplets which then contaminates the tank. These are my personal observations after two years of fuel system problems. I want my old fuel without ethanol back. There is only one station about one hour away that sells the unadulterated fuel.
