There's been lots of concern, but most of it was  about methanol, 
which is harder on fuel system materials. My impression is that 
ethanol, especially in the percentages we see in gasohol, has not 
actually been a problem. My daily driver gets it all the time and 
I've had no problems ever.

If you're getting water in your gas, then I think that's a problem 
with your station rather than with the fact that there's ethanol 
blended in with the gas.

It's true, however, that ethanol has less energy content than 
gasoline, so your gas mileage should go down slightly. As long as the 
price went down faster, that's not really much of a problem.
