[T3] Striker Plate

Definitely injected molded. 

Look at this photo. It shows the bare plate each with two holes that secured the rubber bumpers to the metal.

So there is more too it than just molding a part and attaching it. It was inject molded to withstand the force of the closing rear hatch.
