Yes, we still use hundredweights. In fact when I get sand for sandblasting 
on my type 3s, it's sold in 50 lb bags (used to be 80 lb bags). I think 
cement is now sold in 80 lb bags to make them easier to lift. ;-) I think the 
"health and safety" people decided to lower the weights to reduce back 
injuries. However, the manufacturers still charge the same for the reduced weight.
