Looking at the microfilm, it appears that there were 2 latches used 
over the years. It's not clear to me how it broke down, but, oddly, 
both are 111 part numbers. I don't think Beetles ever used a cable  
release. Ghias did, but then you'd expect them to be 141 parts.
