[T3] Oil light flicker...

Well, something's wrong here. If it's the '71 brain and FI wiring 
harness, then it has a 4 pin connector at the TVS, but the '72 and 
'73 engines have 5-pin TVSs. If that's the case, he should swap in 
the '71 4-pin TVS.

Whatever he has needs to be consistent. Mixing randomly is likely to give random results, most of which will be undesirable.

---->>  Basically, all I did was to put a '73 engine block in to replace the damaged '72 engine block.  I retained most of the '72 stuff...brain, TVS, injectors, etc....but all that's the same as '73 anyhow, as far as I know. Generator, coil, air dist., etc just stayed with the '73 engine.
  The reason all of that was and is in a '71 car is because, when I got the car a decade ago, as I mentioned earlier, I changed it from automatic to standard, using '72 standard stuff, brain, pressure reg, and the works...including the wire harness from brain to engine. So, there is a 5 pin TVS.

And it's all working fine---except for that little oil light flicker nuisance when heated up. I'll just play with the idle a little.    Car even starts better. Don't know why.
