There is no relay for the brake lights, but the fuel pump relay is
under the dash. If there is unusual noise on the 12 V line, this can
make the turn signal relay click, but I've only heard that on the
earlier, '68-70, TS relay.
If you're really hearing the fuel pump relay click, and can verify
this by holding it and feeling the click, then I suspect that the
ground for the main FI power relay has come loose and is opening and
closing with engine vibration. That ground wire is under the screw
head that secures the main power relay under the back seat, behind
the driver. Check to see if that has come loose.
If it's not that, I suspect some sort of loose connection somewhere
else. If this started recently, look in the area where work was done
just before this started happening.
The bad connection COULD be in the FI brain. This is very rare, but
if so, I can fix it if you send me the brain. If it comes to this, I
can tell you what to look for to verify that you have this rare
problem.
BTW, I hope you didn't throw away your original plug wires. The OG
wire ends to the top of the distributor are exceptionally nice and
virtually unreplacable. They unscrew from the wires and can be reused
forever. For cap, rotor and condensor, I almost never see bad ones as
long as they are Bosch. Don't replace them with any other brand.
