We are making baby steeps here. This morning done a dry run and spun the
engine over several times with no fuel going in it and an oil pressure gage
hooked up. It took several spins (didn't want to overheat the starter) but
she finely pumped up about 30 PSI on the oil pressure. Just before the
students left we hooked the brain up and tried spinning it over a few times
but no offers to hit a lick. Not to disappointed however. We were just
trying to start it with a jump box alone. Went back to the coil and got a
10.9 volt reading on the hot side so going to try a hot battery tomorrow and
have the students to give the cable ends a good cleaning. The fuel pump was
cycling like it should and with the switch on and working the throttle we
could hear injectors clicking. We will also check the fuel pressure
tomorrow and see what that is. Ignition looks to be firing and pretty sure
we got the timing close Earlier today we flushed the fuel lines then added
more gas and noticed the fuel gage wasn't working. We grounded the wire off
the tank sending unit and pop full tank so something going on with the tank
unit.
