Oops, I must read the question properly!
Oddly, the drawing in the parts book shows a hex head screw.

M8 x 1.25 x 10 It's a special bolt, because of the 6 mm hex socket.
A better choice for replacement would actually be a standard hex head bolt,
which would still easily fit under the wheel, but would also allow much
better torque to get them loose.
