[T3] Mechanic in town

Jim,

I knew I wouldn't find a mechanic in the down town area. There is a VW restorer about an hour away who does service, but I don't want to drive that far. I see there is a guy in The Stone Mountain area that's been around for several years. He's about 30 minutes away. Not bad.
I had a guy in down town Santa Barbara that was incredible, he was old and crusty and treated me like crap. He was like the soup Nazi of VW repair. I almost had to beg him to work on my car. I was afraid, because of his age, something would happen to him.

Thanks again for your help.
