[T3] cylinder head breather ports on a 1972 Squareback

When I rebuilt my 72 engine years ago, I used a set of cylinder heads that
did not have the ports in the cylinder heads for the crankcase ventilation
system. Right now, my oil bath air cleaner simply has no hoses connected
to those two ports.

Because I have the oil breather installed, do I need to have a way for air
to get into my crankcase since I do not have the ports on my cylinder heads?

Also, if I leave these disconnected (as it currently is), do I need to plug
the holes on my air cleaner? If not, what is the harm?

Thanks!

Jacob
