[T3] Baking Soda for fires...

Re/  What to carry in a Type III (or any car)...my father used to keep a container of Baking Soda (sodium bicarbonate) in his car.  Over the years, he put out at least two car engine fires he came upon while driving to and from his office. Just dump it on the fire area and there goes the oxygen.
   Consider alternative solutions if the whole car is engulfed.
