[T3] Wiring Harness Needed (was RE: Faulty Fuel Pump)

Do you have a recommendation for an adjustable solder iron with possibly a
stand? I really enjoyed the private tech session with you and the main thing
I got out of it is I need a better iron. The tip is the worst. Also, not
sure where in Oma's garage it is...

Any 40 watt or so Weller that you can adjust the temp should work.

For shrink tubing, I found a match works. Is a heat gun a better way?

Match works, heat gun is better... less burned fingers!

Where does one get lead solder? I thought lead anything was banned.

You can still get it thru digikey and such, its no longer a procedure 19
chemical.

Where does one get wire? I looked on McMaster-Carr, and it was ridiculous!
AutoZone has wire, but the colors are not the best. I know I will not be
able to match the combinations, but like to at least have the basics close.

Newark, digikey, Allied, Mouser, MSC.... one of them should have an
assortment.
