Gary, why does the owner's manual say the Squareback weighs 2,300 pounds?

Wait a minute, you might be onto something! Are you saying one can use a Class 1 despite being over by 300 pounds? (Does a Google search.) If so, what about this? http://www.readybrake.com/brake-systems.html This is exactly what I was thinking of! But, I have never seen or heard of them, so need advice from the experts. ;) 

I did find the Curt hitch is on sale until the fourth for $200 with free shipping, but says out of stock. So, not sure I should risk it or not.
