[T3] 72 FI

Wondering if anyone here can fill me in on how the late model TPS works on
the say 72 FI system.
Does it function in much the same way as modern TPS or is it way different?
If so would said TPS be asking for a whole lot of troubles if I was to use
it with a modern brain?
If not does anyone happen to know if there is a modern unit that might be
less work to get to fit on the later throttle body?

Its similar but on a modern car it is preset no adjustment to do.
