And I can verify that the single, left-side exhaust tip (when the
bumper is NOT in place is a shin-buster, too.  Two years ago, my wife
was carrying two large, empty storage bins from the rear of the Square
to our Honda.  She turned, started walking and because she couldn't
see "down", caught the exhaust tip ... in full stride ... and opened
up a "V-shaped" gash in her right shin.

It took the "Wound Doctor" 13 "stitches" and several months for her
shin to heal.
In fact, last September, when Bob Heydt replaced the rockers, heater
tubes and rebuilt the rear bumper mounts we specifically took a
picture of Bev, kneeling down and pointing to the exhaust.

Before the "bumper fix", our solution for someone else walking past
the rear of the car where the exhaust pipe stuck out about 6" was:
Put a roll of white, paper towel over the exhaust tip to prevent an
accident.
