[T3] Oil bath filter

Thanks Jim that was my plan to feed clean air into the heads and out of the breather box. And since the only port on the air filter I have that is clean air is where the AAR used to connect to on this particular air cleaner I was going to (T) off the port to each head and then use the vacuum port that was for the AAR as the vacuum port for the PCV valve on the breather box.

OK on a different subject I think I saw a diagram floating around that showed the different timing marks for different years was that you that posted that or someone else? I had one but have misplaced it and need it to set my base timing.

I understand that you're moving to the MS System. That's okay, I don't know anything about it, so you clearly know more about it than I do. You may not need the AAR, if the MS system has a different way to handle the engine idle speed vs. warmup problem.

The breather is another matter. The ports on the heads are for clean air to go INTO the engine. If you breathe air out of those ports that will take care of the case getting pressurized, but at high rpm there's a LOT of oil spray in the rocker boxes, and if you draw your breather air from there you will get lots of oil in the process. It's really not what you want to do.

You need clean air to go into the heads and crankcase blowby to exit via the breather box (which serves as an oil mist separator.)
