[T3] A question for Keith Parks

Hello Keith,
I have a question for you specifically. Do you work on type 3's or if not, would you consider working on mine? I have had it in the shop forever. It was in for over a month, got it back, drove it three days and it was back in the shop for the same problem. They had it three weeks and I picked it up and 15 minutes down the road had to U-turn and take it back for the same problem. It's cutting out when I accelerate and won't get over hills. I got the filler hose kit from Jim Adney and that was put in or at least the filler part. Someone previously had clamped off my vent and my mechanic fixed that, but couldn't figure out where the vent part was supposed to go, so that was not used. He drained and cleaned the tank. I asked him to do the fuel lines and fuel filter too. I don't think that was done. The second trip to the shop, the fuel filter was replaced. It was all clogged up. I haven't had any news on what's going on with it now. It's been there two
 weeks. I've been wondering if you would consider working on it. Everyone speaks so highly of you on this mailing list and on The Samba. It's 1972 Type 3 fastback with fuel injection.
