[T3] Distributer question

I seem to remember talk about the position of the rotor on the type3 be discussed here but wondering if its ok to ask again. I have an 009 (With electronic kit) that I am locking and using with a MegaSquirt system.  My question is about the mark on the body is it supposed to be toward the front of the car or back and passenger or driver side for number one?  It was originally installed with the mark on the passenger side toward front of car. I am just trying to get things oriented correctly if it was not from the beginning. Any pictures out there that might help? Looking at the Bentley I find one that would suggest that the stock ones are set with the mark on the driver side toward the front of the car.
