[T3] Introduction of a newbie to the world of the Type 3

I have yet to find where they hid the bugger! It is electric and they ran it to a toggle switch on the dash. My plans are if it is putting out too much pressure,  go back to mechanical. If it is at the called out 2.5 psi, I am going to wire it to a relay.

What fuel pump have they fitted instead of the FI electric one?

Drips from the accelerator pump nozzle isn't right - it should be a spray.

Nice to know that there is someone close(ish) by. This 71 was  converted to
carbs. I do have one question. It is running rich and flooding  out. I
already figure the carbs require cleaning and rebuild. My question is,  when
looking down the throat while running, should the fuel be dripping or a
fine spray? I noticed this when revving it up too. Not so much a squirt of
fuel, but bigger drips.

Try shutting off the engine, and see IF you still have drips coming out. If
so, then your float level is set to high, or you have too much fuel pump
pressure.

Oh, and welcome to the list. : )
