[T3] Vent windows seals

I'm even later than Bob in replying here, but FWIW, I tried the cut,
splice, and glue method on a Type 1 window a few years ago and it hasn't
held. I found that there's just too much pressure on the seal at the areas
I had to cut and after a while the ends separated and became leak sources.
I've just spent a few hours over the last few days prepping a fresh window
and frame.

I found a supplier for the OEM round headed rivet and fiber washer here

https://bugcity.com/shop/shop.htm?pquery=rivet+vent

Only issue is that no one sells the round bottom part that receives the
rivet. Using a 5/32" drill bit, I was able to drill through the bottom
mount to remove the rivet without widening the hole much if any and test
fitting so far looks and feels good. For riveting, I intend to use the
Fastenal tool someone else linked to but I've got to find a BB or similar
to complete the job.

If all that fails, I'm sure there's a machine screw and nut small enough to
do the job without looking too shabby.
