Look at the inside stationary rail, on the top at the front. There is 
a springy bumper that sticks up so that the seat can't slide past it. 
You have to push that down while sliding the seat forward and over 
the bumper. I use a screwdriver to push that bumper straight down, so 
I don't get a finger caught in there.
