[T3] Generator installation.

I have discovered on my 1966 type 3 a later 30 amp generator can sit on an earlier fan shroud without too much trouble. There is a slight gap ( 1 mm) between the side wall of the mounting, however this could be sealed for complete air flow to the generator.

The only alteration I can see is to cut a small section ( 12 mm x 3 mm) of the fan tin's wear to allow fitting of the larger 30 amp generator's raised locating key moulding on its body.

A slightly longer fan belt is required as the pulley sits a little higher once mounted but does not foul the tin wear top removable cover and back tin section.

The later fan shroud is certainly more complete however this conversion could work and save a lot of work.

I would appreciate any opinion / advice to my concept.
