[T3] Type 3 Axle Beam question

This is a question for Keith, but anyone else who has insight should
feel free to chime in.

Keith, at the Invasion, I was surprised to see that you had some of
the plastic sleeves that the inner beam bearing sleeves press into.
I'm in the process of cutting apart a dead beam to harvest parts and
I'm wondering how those sleeves are held in place.

One end of each sleeve is pressed up against a bulkhead, so they
can't move in that direction, but should I be able to press them out
in the other direction? It looks like they are just pressed into that
tube, but they don't seem to want to move. Is there something else
holding them in there?

I could bandsaw thru the beam parts to release their grip on those
sleeves, but that's a lot of metal to saw thru, and it has the risk
of damaging the sleeves.

In case it makes a difference, the ones I'm looking at so far are the
lower ones. These are the plain bearings, not the needle bearings.
