We had about two weeks solid of sunshine & record highs in January.....and
precious little rain the past year...aside from steady downpours for the
last couple of days straight!

Unfortunately this revealed a water leak into the interior of my Beetle.
 D'oh!

What part of the south are you in Greg?  Not heard of many places down here
that have been above normal temperature in the last month that I know of.
Here in Alabama a couple of weeks ago we had snow from the northern part
where I'm at to the Gulf Coast. I can only remember one or two times that
has happened in my life time.
