[T3] Dints in the side trims?

I know a guy who straightened out a set.  He said he'll never do it again.  He made a small wooden punch that had the right curvature on the end.

Hello everybody from Down Under (Australia),

I am wondering if anyone has or attempted to remove dints from the Stainless Steel side body trims of type 3s?

New are expensive from this part of the world and good second hand ones almost impossible to find here.

Will experiment on an old trim to see how successful small beating works!

We are having high temperatures here (40 Deg Cel.) and bush fires, a complete contrast to most of your Northern States!
