The right-side (passenger for the USA) is a Beetle mirror - compare the nuts
on each - they would both look like the left-hand nut if Type 3.  The stem
doesn't look long enough for a passenger side mirror, but if you can see
clearly behind, there's no need to rush to change it.

Out of curiosity, I'm wondering what is correct and not correct on my 68.
