If it starts, you should be able to drive it as cold as it gets, I drove my
25W50 down to 18 degree's but it was in the 30's in the garage where I
initially started it.  Just don't rev it cold, THAT would be bad.

The little building it's in is not heated or insulated so if it was 9
outside it was 9 in there.  I didn't really rev it up just gave enough
throttle to keep it from dying because it was so cold.
