Jim,

I will work some leads I have for the time being. Thanks for the offer. Right now I will pass. 

As far as engaging the splines and making sure the TC was seated right, I am confident I did this correctly. More than one person had warned me of this problem going into this. 

My guess is that the whole transmission took quite a jarring when the governor took the hit. The governor shaft that came out of it is actually twisted almost 45 degrees. I should've know I was not going get off this easy.
