It gets unloaded, because much of the stuff I carry gets used pretty
regularly when I'm at home. The car sits in the garage, but it's not
empty. It gets loaded with stuff that won't fit anywhere else in the
garage. So now the beater '73 is in the garage, filled with all that
stuff. It's an 80 year old 1 car garage, so there's not much room in
it. The house and garage were built in 1937, so it would be
interesting to know what cars were parked in it in the early years.
Not a lot of choices in those days.
Today the '71 gets its valves adjusted, the timing and ATF checked,
the oil changed and the front axle lubed. Weather looks good, so
shouldn't be any problems with that.
I understand that you and Sue won't be making it this year. Sorry to
hear that. We'll miss you.
Thanks, we'll miss all of you too. Enjoy yourselves, and take lots of
pictures, so those of us not attending, can "be there in spirit". : )
It was supposed to be a "tongue in cheek" question, as you always seem to
have that car very loaded with stuff (at least it sure looks that way) for
the Invasions. We (Sue and I) were just wondering IF you kept most of that
stuff in there or not. I realize some stuff would get unloaded, but wasn't
sure if you totally unloaded it or not (especially since it still had 2 year
old gas in it).
As for what's been possibly kept in your 80 year old 1 car garage, that
would really depend on it's length and width. Cars were a lot larger back then
(especially during the 30's). ;-) But it could have held anything. : )
