My experience with Coker has not been at all good. I have found the
tires are not at all built to original specs, they just look like the
old tires. Everyone I know with a wide range of cars and tire sizes
says that their Cokers tires shake on the highway no matter what they
do to try to balance them.
What I find hard to believe is that there is not one major tire
maker, such as Michelin, still making our size. There are literally
millions of VW's still on the road all over the world. The size is
the same for Beetles, Karmann Ghias and type 3s. Also some English
sport cars use the same size. I can't believe there is not enough
demand for at least one tire maker to produce them. Anyone know
anyone at Michelin?
