Yep, that's pretty much it. I tried to find info in some of the books I've
got, but I've been driving Type 3s since the mid '60s, my Beetle is a '59,
and the Camper I had was a 74 model with 1600 dual port. So I never needed
to know about 1300s.

Being over in Europe, I'm surprised you haven't heard of the dual port 1300.
I guess being a T3 guy, you never had to worry about wimpy Beetles? ;)
In non-USA markets, the dual port 1300 was available from 1971 until at
least 1974. I've seen a pair of heads in person (smaller diameter for the
cylinders).
