[T3] heater thermostats

after 344Kmi I had one of my metal tubes break off at the front bracket this
past week, and that was with NO hose on it, so eventually time catches up
with them even with the paper hoses on them.

You can try that, but this hose is actually 28 mm ID, closer to 
1-1/8" ID. It's also lightweight paper, which puts less stress on the 
parts that support it, doesn't have as much thermal mass or thermal 
conductivity, and is less apt to fall off.
