[T3] Road Trip!

For the past 3 weeks Melissa and I have been on our way to Tucson, AZ 
and back. That's 4400 miles, with side trips, at ~47 mi/gal (US 
gallons) in our VW Jetta turbo diesel wagon. That's the modern 
decendent of our old Squarebacks. It's a great car.

Unfortunately, all this travel has kept me from responding to some of 
the questions here on the Type 3 list. I'll try to get started on 
those over the next few days. Stay tuned.
