Problem is, TIME. The T4 going back in is a weekend project, then
calibrating the E version FI will take some time... at some point I will be
forced to do this, but if I pull the engine out of the Notch, knowing
myself, Ill never get around to putting it back together. I have camp now
to work on, and oh... Dad's Tbird, too many projects but yea,
when the engine eventually goes in the 71, it will be forced to a priority.

I know this might sound like a "crazy idea", but why not put the Notch
engine into the Square, and convert it to FI? That way you'll have a fresh
"known" engine for the trip, and room (if you can find it with all the stuff
you'll be carrying) for some clean sheetmetal. :O
I only say that, as both cars are set up for IRS, so it should be a "plug
and play" conversion.
It's either that, or do the T-4 conversion, and SPEND the next year
working out the bugs. ;-)
