Ohh, I tried I tried...  ;-)

BUT..

You cant!  Unless you want to disrupt the geometry and make for some really
squirrely handling and have no travel left for absorbing any bumps.

Some cut off the bumps stops but there there for a reason and you'll start
breaking torsion bars if you drive it on rough roads.

Basically, you start losing Caster when you start to lower it, then it gets
unstable, and unalignable.  Drop spindles are the only way to go and keep
your handling and suspension travel.
