It means that you'll have to use new paper gaskets at the point where  the 
cylinders meet and seal at the case. Be warned that some engine builders use 
 a shim here to level out the compression ratio, and take up the difference 
in  manufacturing/machining. Some also don't use a paper gasket, but rather 
 use silicone to prevent oil leaks.
Also, you should do 1 cylinder at a time, and use some valve lapping  
compound to help seal the head end.
