OK, I think I got ya now,
get an Oxy torch (dont even try with MAPP gass or propane) and heat the
piss out of the hex nuts, dont melt them but cherry red all the way around,
let them cool till just dark and have at it, try this several times. It may
or may not work, your not in the salt belt so you have a better chance.

Copper rings are out there, if not get copper gaskets for vacuum couplings
that will fit. it IS a pain when they leak and you have to try and get them
apart without sacrificing the muffler.

*N.O.S. muffler with N.O.S. upper heat exchangers still attached.

*However, the upper heat exchangers are loose.

*The nut did not turn either direction even with a 6' breaker bar.

*Instead of damaging the N.O.S. muffler, did as advised and left them loose.

*Was told the carbon build up and seal them. However, this was wrong and
instead will do damage.

*Further, the copper rings are N.L.A. separate and good luck finding a
muffler kit. Even the O.E.M.kit needed a good bit of exhaust paste.

Thank you so very much!
Adriel
