[T3] Flywheel Question

I keep reading that using a 12v starter in a 6v tranny requires...

"Brass bushing to accommodate the 12 volt starter shaft"

Does anyone have any info on this?

From what I am gathering from my reading, I can't swap to the 6v flywheel
because I now have a 12v crank with a different mating surface. I need to
grind the bell housing to make room for the flywheel. And there is a
possibility that I need a conversion bushing of some sort.

It is never easy is it? 😈
