[T3] Do you have a '68 or '70 Type 3?

Yep, mine also connects to a multi-spade (3) connector just above and to
the left of the steering column. And I also have the metal support
welded with a single male connector on it, facing upwards.

I figured out when it was manufactured once, Aug '69, I believe this VIN
says: 3602107600
