[T3] Moaning in and out of gear

I've never had any VW engine balanced. Not saying it's not better yet I
never found any to stand out with any vibration and I've nothing to compare
it to.

If you hear it only while everything is buttoned up perhaps it's
transmitted through the mounts .

My 73 auto trans has always had a vib in drive at a stop . Once in a great
moon it would stop and only on a rainy humid day . Rebuilding the trans or
engine never changed it one bit. As soon as I let off the brake it goes
away. If I focus on it it drives me nuts and have newer used mounts yet
never put them on and they may very well be the proplem even though they
look fine the rubber gets hard. I has not gotten a bit worse so who knows.

I never looked into these balanced crankshafts , aren't they all counter
balanced have to be or it would be one vibration device.
