Ran the pump some more, to get the rubber bits all soaked with gas,
then got Melissa to crank the engine while I checked for spark and FI
trigger point contacts. My timing light didn't show any sign of
spark, so I assumed the points had some oxide on them. Pulled the FI
trigger point connecter off the side of the distributor and checked
for open/close/open as the engine was cranked, for both points. Both
checked as good, but the engine fired a bit as we did that, so I
plugged the trigger point connector back in and had Melissa try to
start the car.

Nothing happened at first, then it fired a bit and died. Tried again
and it fired and died. On the 3rd try it fired and we were able to
keep it going,

but just on 2 cylinders.

Another 30 seconds of running at various RPMs and a 3rd cylinder
jumps in.

Better RPM with 3 cylinders, and after about a minute, the last
cylinder joins us. So the stuck injectors loosened up and started
working. Hard to believe that this could have gone so well!

IT'S ALIVE! ;-)

Old gas and all! ;-)

Now it's been warmed up, been around the block a few times, and I
topped up at the gas station. It needs a muffler and there's a loud
squeak coming from somewhere back there. That will have to get found
and fixed. Might just be the rear door hinges. I hope it's not
anything serious. The clock is even working.
