[T3] I want to change my brake fluid it's been a while? 73 SB

VW originally recommended testing 
and/or replacing the brake fluid (the OE stuff was DoT-4) every 2 
years. 


VW isn't the only manufacturer that recommends replacing brake fluid every 2 years. GM and Honda also do that, as does Toyota. It's done for the reasons Jim mentioned. And with manufacturer warrantees going 10 yesrs and or 100,000 miles, it's only prudent to keep up with stuff.
