In the second photo where it shows the red shield with 2 white wires and the 
bottom left showing the 2 white/black wires to the ECU . Since both are ECU/ 
body harness and do not connect to the engine at all . I would use only one 
connector to connect the 2 white wires to the ECU similar to what shows in 
this photo as you seem to be suggesting and then bring then both up and zip 
tie them to the largest black harness just to the right where the 2 white 
leads with red shield exit . Keep both under that large harness and both 
away from the fuel line. All you need is enough wire for some slack . Try to 
zip tie that 2 wire ECU harness at both sides of the new connector so there 
is no possible stain on that 2 wire harness either side of the new plug if 
possible.
