[T3] I pulled my Interstate battery july 12th to check the level , found the Interstae MT-42 was leaking.

 The cables are clean they never get corrosion and I replaced the neg one 
with the proper mesh type I had for years because the original one was green 
and I had a regular type cable on there for decades. I do clean the insides 
and posts with a battery brush once in a while. I'll check out the products 
or paint you suggested.
