Don't know how I missed this :)

I have a 914/Type 4 engine in my 65 bolted up to a regular old 1965
swingaxle.

Granted...there is a little fabrication to be done...and yes type4 engine
parts are a little pricier than type1 parts..but I love it.

Couldn't ask for a better engine (IMHO)
