I swapped the pan on my NOtch, when doing a complete restoration and
everything is apart, its still alot of work and fitting the new pan can have
some challenges, as Jim said, there will likely be rust on the rockers and
that will need to be repaired properly.

Hello all! I was wondering if there was a link somewhere explaining and or
showing how to remove the body and pan from a type 3. How difficult and
time consuming is it? I need to repair my pan but recently acquired a great
pan so I will be changing it instead of patching it. Thanks! Doug "Leilani"
