I don't think there's any point in trying to cover the threads. The 
parts that aren't screwed into the caliper don't matter, and you'll 
never get a seal at the junction of the bleeder to the caliper. In 
fact, you'll probably make the problem worse, because you've created 
a tight place that will hold water.
