I used to use Sta-Bil Fuel Stabilizer in both the Cummins 5.9L diesel
engine in the motor home and the fuel tank in the gas-powered Square 1600
engine. Thatis UNTIL they changed the formula, price and the quantity that
Sta-Bil recommended.

Both vehicles "sat" for long periods.

1.) The Square for 6 winter months, and
2.) The motor home for 5 winter months in South Texas and 5 summer months
in southern Wisconsin.

I changed over to PRI-D (D for diesel) and PRI-G (G for gasoline) several
years ago. The PRI-D & G are somewhat difficult to find. but many marine
dealers and some Camping World stores usually have it.

Fuels, in both of the fuel tanks and engines, appear to have benefitted.
At least both of the diesel and the gas fuels have not demonstrated any ill
effects that I can detect.
