Good news, and good Call by Don and his engine guru.

I dumped the break in oil on the 2056 and fixed the drippy sump (how do you
get a copper

washer to seal with only 9 ft lbs allowed on it?) and put the Joe Gibbs

DT50 15W50 in it and it ran MUCH cooler! Did finally get to temp where the
cooler kicked in but

the oil pressure is now where it should be at these temps. I can start it
right up when its at temp now too,

no more tight engine! I dont know whats in that break in oil,, or whats NOT
in it, but its certainly not regular oil!

So I feel a bit more peace of mind now, I still havent had it on the highway
yet and have much tuning to do including getting a new

TB but I can at least drive it around town now.

Anybody have a T2/4 throttle body, 45mm with vacuum retard AND advance
nipples on it?

Im getting there...

Keith
